COVID-19 update

Our frontline staff continue to provide direct support to women and children in the community, our shelters, transition houses, and second stage housing.

Our administrative offices are open, but we are operating at decreased capacity to ensure safe distancing. People who wish to come into our offices must make an appointment. Please do not drop in.

Masks are now mandatory in common spaces in all SARA for Women facilities. Staff reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who will not wear a mask.

Our counsellors and outreach workers are holding some in-person appointments with physical distancing restrictions in place but will also continue to see some clients via video. Please call or email our offices to connect with SARA staff (contact info for admin offices below).

With a vaccine coming soon there is light at the end of the COVID tunnel but it is still important to heed the words of Dr. Bonnie Henry "be calm, be kind, and be safe".
